Privacy choices

What this browser allows. Saved on this device; change it any time.

Personalised advertising Lets our advertising partners use cookies and similar technology to choose ads based on your interests and activity across other sites, and to measure them. The site shows no ads at present; this records your choice for when it does. Off unless you turn it on. External content The few things your browser loads from other servers, such as the aurora forecast map, which then see your IP address. Off, they are simply not shown.

Always on, because the site cannot work without them: signing in and staying signed in, and remembering these choices. None of them tracks you.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

We do not sell your email address, ratings or account details. Under the laws of California and some other US states, letting advertising partners use cookies or identifiers for ads across other sites can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. Turning personalised advertising off above is your opt-out, for this browser. A Global Privacy Control signal from your browser does the same automatically. In the app, use the setting of the same name.

You can also ask us directly through the contact form. More detail is in our privacy policy.
